Money between public bodies

Where one public body published a payment to another public body. Precepts, levies, transfers, shared service recharges and debt service, taken from the payer's own published file.

Read this before the table

Never add these figures up across families of body. A payment from a district to its county appears in the district's file as money out and in the county's file as money in, and a precept counted on both sides is the same pound counted twice. Each row is what one payer published about one payee, and it is a lower bound.

Each row counts only the councils and financial years this site holds, and inside those only the payments each council published above its own publication threshold. A body that publishes nothing, or that this site has not read, contributes nothing to a row it belongs in. So every figure is written "at least".

Pairs above £10.0m in the files held

Every pair whose payments come to more than £10.0m across the 16 financial years held. That is 409 of the 8,400 pairs in the files, drawn from 11 families of body, which are never added together. In alphabetical order by payer then payee. Use the payer, payee or family heading to reorder.

A threshold and not a ranking. Each row is here because its own figure clears £10.0m, which is a question asked of that row alone, so no row is placed above another and no position on this page means anything. The threshold keeps the table to a page; the other 7,991 pairs are the same figures and are one request away: the full table as JSON.

At least this much moved from the payer to the payee, as the payer published it. Each figure is a lower bound.
